The big one: outdoor risk

Fishing, boating, backpacking, and all outdoor activities are inherently dangerous. Our reports and dossiers are decision-support tools built from forecasts and public data. Forecasts are wrong sometimes. Conditions change fast. You — not us — are responsible for your safety, your judgment, your gear, and your go/no-go calls. Never rely on a single source for water crossings, weather windows, or navigation.

Regulations

You are responsible for holding valid licenses and following all fishing regulations, seasons, limits, and access rules. We point you to the managing agency; verifying current rules is on you.

No guarantee of catch or conditions

A Bite Score is a probability estimate, not a promise. Refunds are not issued because fish didn't cooperate.

Digital products

Premium reports are delivered instantly and are non-refundable once viewed. Dossiers include one revision round; if we can't deliver your dossier, you get a full refund.

Physical products

Print orders are made to order. We reprint or refund print defects and shipping damage reported within 30 days with photos. Because items are custom, change-of-mind returns aren't accepted. Nothing prints before you approve the proof.

Intellectual property

You keep rights to photos and tracks you upload and warrant you have the right to use them. You grant us a license to use them solely to produce your order. Our report formats, designs, and site content are ours; personal, non-commercial use only.

Liability cap

To the maximum extent permitted by Ohio law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including any arising from reliance on reports or dossiers in the field.

Governing law

Ohio, USA. Disputes go first to good-faith negotiation, then binding arbitration in Hamilton County, Ohio.
